Press Release 03-30-2010
The Chatham Citizen Corps Council is sponsoring two tabletop exercises on Incident Management at the National Guard Amory in Siler City April 14 and April 15. Area First Responders will be in attendance at both. The trainings are from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm each of those days. Both exercises will be conducted by John Bierling of Incident Management, Inc. The April 14 tabletop exercise is designed for the employees of organizations that do not often have an opportunity to exercise with area disaster response agencies, and need to learn more about the local disaster response infrastructure. Volunteers to the CERT and Medical Reserve Corps programs will be invited to this training. The April 15 exercise is for the Council Member agencies and other first responders, and part of the lunch period will be scheduled to conduct Council business. Call 919 663-1181 if you would like to attend or send an employee to part of or all of the training on April 14.
